I like that this kit has a little bit of everything to start out trying acrylics at home. I have never done my own, but would like to try and I feel like I have everything I need to get going with this set. Definitely has a smell, but I don't really mind actually lol.I may just stick with gel nail polish. This smells pretty bad. I’ll keep trying it though.I wish the malamar was nonscented slow active for beginners because the smaller will empty your whole house because of the smell and it's hard to practice in an apartment when the malamar smells super super bad but it is a good beginner kits if you have a place you can do the nails that isn't around anybody or get a fan or use everything but by different malamar but besides that it's a good beginner kit you get everything that you need now acrylic brushes Mama everything that you need is there and for a great value in the brushes are very nice quality I just think everyone should be switching to a more healthier malamarThis set has everything you need to start off doing acrylic nails. It’s definitely perfect for beginners. My teen has never done acrylic before and she wanted to learn. So I got her this set to give her something to do in her spare time. Upon arrival, it had a very strong smell through the shipping box! Obviously acrylic stuff is high in chemicals and does have a very distinct smell. I gave this product four stars because the powders & liquid for the acrylic are much smaller than expected. This may be one or two applications for her being a beginner. The instruction booklet is a plus, it will help her to figure out how to do the acrylic nails the proper way. I still would recommend this, as it is very giftable!Very nice kit but honestly, why does it all have to be so small. I got this for my girlfriend to be able to do her own nails from home and she ran through this within a couple of times using it to do her nails. I mean I guess it's just supposed to be like that but why not make it a little bit bigger and just charge more? I think the consumer would appreciate having more product, compared to less pricing. JmoThis is a small kit that comes with a few small containers of acrylic powder. The instructions were easy to follow for making your own nails and trying to make flowers. You need additional manicure tools to use with this set as it is only a starter kit and other types of nail files, etc are also needed.The instructions are simple to follow with pictures to assist you. The pink color is a little light but pretty. The acrylic dries fast. Used the powder with nail gel kit and light, it worked well together. There is a prety strong smell of burnt plastic when using it though. That took off a star.I’m starting to practice nails, and this is a beginner friendly kit. I find that the monomer smells a bit too strong.
