I got a second set of colors, this time I went for the darker one.I did gel foundation, then lampThen, black gel polish, cure itThen, red polish, magnet and cure it.Then top coat, cure it.Love it. I also have a lamp that is 178 w, UV, that helps to cure it well, I used to have a cheap smaller lamp only to waste a lot of time.I like the colors, though the pink/purple/red look very similar to one another. I didn’t feel like the magnet worked at first because I couldn’t see very strong cat eye look to each nail but in the right light it shows.It’s not the most pigmented cat eye I’ve seen but it’s still pretty!To be fair nothing last long on my nails. It is fun to have all the different colors. They all turn out beautiful.Works great. You need to hold the magnet very close to the nail to get the effect to work. darker colors work better than the light colorsYou will need 2 coats of this to make it fully pigmented, but I love that it's like this. Both sheer and solid looks are adorable. It does have a slight stink to it but not noticeable unless you put your nose very close to the product. The cat eye effect works great ? came up as soon as I put the magnet on. Though it is best to hoover the magnet over for at least 5 secs to really show the cat eye. All in all I believe this is a great product for beginners or for someone who is looking for less costly products. I give it a 5/10The polish goes best over black colored base. The magnet is not great. I recommend getting one that also has a small flat circle on one end as well as the larger square one.This is a lovely set, the colour palette is beautiful. When used alone, like in the picture, it's nice but on a black base would be more striking. My only issue is that it soon chips, I do have busy hands, I'm always cleaning something, compared to more pricy gels, they're not as durable. Perfect for short term wear though, don't let that discourage you from getting them. Might be worth getting more magnets to create othe designs too because you will want to play about.Only done my ring finger on each hand, as I wanted to try it out.Really easy and love the effect too.Nice selection of colours, although two of the red/pinkish ones are very similar, so it woukd have been nice to have a different one.Not sure how long it will last, but I see no reason for it not to last as long as all other gels, I normally change my colours every 3 weeks.I would definitely buy more of these.This is better quality than I expected, easy to use, excellent value for money & lasts as long as shellac. If I could fault anything, I’d make the magnet a little more user friendly with a finger rest maybe? You need a steady hand to get close enough to work without touching the nail. (But that’s being really picky) my favourite colour so far is the dark blue, but they are all nice.Arrived today and I couldn't wait to try it out. This varnish is so nice, applying it was so smooth. There are alot of gel varnishes out there that are so thick it's hard to apply them, but not this one. I applied a base then 2 coats of colour. I then used the magnetic wand prior to hardening the second layer of colour and was really pleased with the result. I finished it off with 2 layers of top coat. I can't wait to try out the other colours in the set. I love it !!!Each colour is super deep and looks great if done properly.I used the magnet to draw the particles together but I found the particles just distribute themselves back out before I can get them under a UV lamp. This meant I couldn't get as good of a cat-eye as I thought I could. Tried thinner and thinner layers but no luck.Even so, they still look nice despite this small issue and I still keep using them.
