The gel polish remover works really well! It definitely does break up the polish and makes it very easy to flake off. You can re-apply to more stubborn spots (especially due to thicker polish), and it makes them much easier to gently scrape off.The consistency of the product is a little thick and weird, but easy to apply. I've noticed that there have been times that it made my fingers feel very tight and uncomfortable, but I think it was when the polish was thick, and was trying to break apart on its own, but didn't quite. I was able to easily break it apart with my scraper, which relieved the pressure. Most of the time, however, it just broke apart on its own, and was easy to remove.I was excited to learn that this product exists, because soaking my gel polish off always seemed like a whole production, that took forever, and was still tough to get everything off. I'd gotten lazy and have been picking my polish off, which I know is bad for my nails. Now that I know that this exists, I will happily buy more when my supply runs out.I made the mistake, initially, of trying to apply the liquid latex part before filing off the top layer of gel polish (I got excited about the liquid latex part), and it just stuck to the file and made a mess.I've heard of, but never tried liquid latex before. I can see the appeal of it, but I prefer to just go without it. For this process, it just takes extra time to apply to all of your fingers, and then to dry, when you can just not apply the remover all the way to the skin.In the case of painting nails, I can see how it would be useful, but I find I can be more precise by just wiping up any of my mistakes with a brush dipped in acetone. It makes my edges a lot cleaner and neater than using this, which can be a little imprecise when applying. Other people may find it easier, but I've gotten used to my method, after years of practice, and it works well for me.
