The polish is quite cute, but you need a white polish to really make it pop. I tried using it without any polish and it’s okay. I also tried to use it with other colors but it doesn’t quite pop like the polish.I am by no means a professional, but I know how to apply even coats of nail polish. The neon set is sheer with one coat, forcing you to apply a second. However, when you apply the second coat, it can either pull the first or applies splotchy and uneven. Then if you want it to apply evenly, the coats get so thick that they chip after just a couple days. *sigh* Note: My routine is usually to apply a clear base coat, 2 layers of color, and seche vite top coat.Of the six colors, five are actually neon, because the blue looks pastel. The yellow needs a white base coat to actually pop because it looks more jelly. The other colors are actually beautiful if they just applied well. I wish I could return this, but oh well. I took pics in low light so you can see the splotchiness, which you can’t see in bright indirect light.First let me start by saying that everyone rating these polishes poorly based on the sheerness of the polish and the size, does not know how to use these polishes. Don't rate something poorly because you don't understand it. These nail polishes are intended to be worn over a dark base, like black. They're sort of in the family of "toppers", nail polishes intended to be worn atop a base in order to create an accent or effect. These polishes, when worn over a black base, look exactly as the picture in the product description. As for people complaining about the size, if you read the description before you buy it, you'd see that it clearly says the bottles are approx 6ml. And if you don't know how much that is, then grab one of your polishes you likely already own and compare the size. Most drugstore brand polishes are close to 14ml, therefore it would be safe to assume that the product you'll receive will be about half the size of a regular polish you're used to buying. Then there's no surprise. Read people! Why would you rate a product poorly because of your own misunderstanding that has nothing to do with the quality of the product received?!Now for my personal thoughts about the product itself: these polishes are gorgeous and take only one coat over black to really get that color-shifting effect. I personally used 2 coats to make it a bit bolder but the difference between 1 coat vs 2 wasn't that much. If using only 1-2 thin coats over black (like you're supposed to) then the small size of the bottle doesn't matter because it'll last you longer. The quality of the color shift was (to me) on the same level as KB Shimmer polishes. BEAUTIFUL. As with most multichromes, the effect is strongest in natural light, and I can't stop looking at my hands. My Top Home and Tu Es Ma Lumiere both have holographic glitters while L Heure Bleue has small green glitters. My Top Home shifts between yellow, orange, green and at times almost a pink? Tu Es Ma Lumiere has blue/purple and yellow/orange like colors. L Heure Bleue shifts between purple, green and blue. What makes them such high quality is that you can even see some of the color shift indoors in normal low lighting. Some duo/multichromes are very dull indoors, but not these!!! I can't wait to use these for nail art! Right now I wore them alternating to test them out, but I already have friends who adore them. I may need to get a few as gifts, and at $15 for 3 polishes, that's not bad at all! I will definitely be buying these again in the future and recommending them to everyone.In the picture: My Top Home is worn on my thumb and ring finger, Tu Es Ma Lumiere is on my pointer and pinky, and L Heure Bleue is on my middle finger. (Yes, the names are confusing. You'd expect that L Heure Bleue to be the more deep blueish one, but it is not. It's the one with the strong green shift and the green glitters. Go figure.)Love the Colors, still working on how the magnets work to get stripes and designsIt’s a very beautiful gel nail polish I highly recommended it.I researched a few different brands of magnetic polishes and watched several swatch reviews before settling on this set of three as my first ones. I found that having watched all those videos made my first experience using magnetic polish very easy.This is Astral Realm pictured here, the first of the three I've used. I did a black base coat (used my go-to one-coat black instead of the one they bundled with this). Did one coat and let it dry (and honestly, it's a beautiful multichrome without the magnet). For my second coat, I worked one nail at a time and used a thicker layer of polish. I held the magnet in place for around 30 seconds, and was happy but somewhat underwhelmed with the effect. Particles still looked scattered about and not fully drawn into one line.Then it was time for the top coat, and that was a game-changing moment. Working one nail at a time, I put on a thick coat of quick dry top coat and held the magnet over the nail in the same orientation as before, and WOW! I could see the magnetic particles pulling from all over my nail to where the magnet was centered. The effect was what you see pictured in my finished manicure. So for anyone less-than-pleased with the magnetic effect, make sure you use the magnet over your top coat as well. It has such an impact on the cat eye effect.It took me a couple of tries but I got the hang of using the magnet pretty quick. I am very happy with this polish and the really nice effect I got. I have natural nails so I don't like gel because of how harsh it is and all the peeling it causes. The only minor issue I have is that the black base is a little thick but I thinned it to make it better.I love all the smaller sizes.I absolutely loved the colours on arrival and instantly went to use them. They apply very easily but I couldn’t get the magnets to move the colours to achieve the looks they are meant for which was a real disappointment but undeterred I allowed them to dry before applying a good top coat and allowing them to set. Once I was sure they were set and dry ( I sat and watched a movie) I went about my time cooking up a stirfry for dinner. Upon finishing I found that the polish was starting to lift and that they had already chipped. This has to be one of the worst polishes I’ve ever tried! I am a qualified beauty therapist so have used similar in the past without issue. I’m wish I could’ve left a better review but it just wasn’t to be on this occasion.This polish is very streaky when applied, even on top of a dried base coat, but it does dry streak free. Can't fault the colour change effect as it instantly reacted to the changes in temperature.The glitter polish takes forever to dry but again reacts well to temperature and catches light well, making it super reflective.Ich bin von diesen Lacken wirklich total begeistert. Sogar der schwarze Lack ist wirklich super. Er deckt in einer dünnen Schicht ohne Streifen. Davon muss ich mir unbedingt eine größere Flasche kaufen.Über den schwarzen Lack habe ich zuerst eine Schicht Magnetlack normal aufgetragen und diese trocknen lassen (man benötigt keine UV/LED Lampe). Dann habe ich eine dicke Schicht auf einen Nagel aufgetragen und SOFORT den Magneten für ca. 30 Sekunden darüber gehalten. Wichtig ist, schnell zu sein und den Magneten ca. 1mm über den Nagel still zu halten. Dann ist der Effekt am besten zu sehen. So habe ich jeden Nagel nacheinander gemacht.Aber auch ohne Magnet sehen die Lacke toll aus. Ich habe davon auch Bilder gemacht. Die Lacke haben in jedem Winkel eine andere Farbe.Ich habe Bilder unter weißem LED Licht und warmen LED Licht gemacht und man sieht immer andere Farben.Das nächste mal werde ich auch noch andere Muster ausprobieren.Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Die Lacke sind echt super! Es funktioniert echt leicht. Wer es nicht hinbekommt, macht etwas falsch bzw. ist zu langsam. ;)the colours are very light compared to the images shown even after 3 coats and they have a dull glittery look not glossy after applying and to get a shine i will have to put a top coat on. they are holographic and the nail varnish has just started to wear away slightly at the end of the nails after 5 days of wearing it without topping it up. i find it takes quite a while to dry because even after 15 minutes of applying the varnish i smudged a few of my nails when i thought they felt dry. i was disapointed with them at first but after wearing the varnish f a bit and noticed it didnt chip even without a top coat i liked the look of it on my nails i was happy with them and i would try more. this is the first time ive had holographic nailvarnish.
